Bostik BLOCK H777 AQUA BLOCKER – flexible universal waterproofing based on SMP

Bostik BLOCK H777 AQUA BLOCKER is a flexible, ready-to-use waterproofing for structures based on modern SMP technology. The waterproofing is solvent-, water- and bitumen-free and is suitable for numerous waterproofing applications indoors and outdoors.

After curing, BLOCK H777 is waterproof and bridges cracks of at least 5 mm with a corresponding dry film thickness. The material adheres to numerous common construction substrates and can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces.

Suitable substrates

BLOCK H777 AQUA BLOCKER is suitable for numerous common construction substrates. The substrate must be sufficiently firm and free from adhesion-reducing substances such as oil, grease, dust or loose layers. Slightly damp substrates are also possible.

Technical data

Application

BLOCK H777 AQUA BLOCKER is ready to use and can be applied directly from the container. The waterproofing is applied in two coats to the prepared substrate. For larger areas, a short pile roller is suitable, for example.

The component and ambient temperature must be at least +5 °C during application. Ideally, the material temperature should be between +15 °C and +25 °C.

For applications with increased requirements, a suitable Aqua Blocker fleece can be embedded in the first coat and completely covered with the second coat after the first coat has dried.

Consumption

Consumption is approx. 1.5 kg per m² and millimeter of film thickness. Depending on the application and the required total film thickness, the material requirement must be adjusted accordingly. Approx. 0.4 kg/m² is required as a panel fixer.

What is the difference between H777 and H778 AQUA BLOCKER LIQUID?

BLOCK H777 is non-sagging and is therefore also suitable for vertical surfaces. In contrast, BLOCK H778 AQUA BLOCKER LIQUID is pourable and intended primarily for horizontal surfaces.
