Yes. The manufacturer specifies a maximum service life of up to 6 weeks indoors and outdoors. The substrate, weather conditions, and respective processing conditions are decisive.

How temperature resistant is the protective film?

According to the manufacturer, the KIP 319 protective film is temperature resistant from -40 °C to +60 °C. The smooth PE film remains dimensionally stable even when exposed to heat and cold.

Is KIP 319 suitable for anodized aluminum?

Processing Instructions

The substrate should be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other adhesion-reducing substances. Apply the protective film evenly and press down sufficiently.

For sensitive, freshly coated, weathered, or unknown surfaces, a preliminary test application should be carried out. Do not use on anodized aluminum. Caution is required on galvanized surfaces.

Remove the protective film within the permitted service life. The actual suitability and residue-free removability must be checked before application under the respective conditions.

Note: The specified technical data correspond to the manufacturer's information. They do not constitute a guarantee of suitability on every substrate.
