beko FoodLine Food-Grade Silicone is a high-quality, acetate-curing silicone sealant for applications in the food sector, kitchens, cold storage, warehouses, and other sensitive areas. The silicone is transparent, permanently elastic, and suitable for professional sealing where food safety and reliable durability are required.
The product has been tested by the ISEGA Institute and is food-safe in accordance with the German Food, Consumer Goods and Feed Code and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004. After curing, the silicone is odorless and resistant to common, non-aggressive household cleaners.
FoodLine Food-Grade Silicone is resistant to aging, weathering, and UV, has a wide adhesion spectrum, and remains permanently elastic. It is suitable for jointing and sealing in areas of food production, food packaging, and food storage, as well as for drinking water areas, plastic glazing, and aquariums.

Possible restrictions / to consider
- Acetate-curing silicone may be unsuitable for acid-sensitive substrates.
- For natural stone, sensitive metals, or unknown substrates, carry out a compatibility and adhesion test beforehand.
- Substrates must be clean, dry, load-bearing, dust-free, oil-free, and grease-free.
- Process only within the recommended processing temperature.
- Complete curing depends on temperature, humidity, joint dimensions, and substrate.
- Observe manufacturer's instructions and safety data sheet.
Processing instructions
Before processing, the adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry, load-bearing, dust-free, oil-free, and grease-free. Old sealant residues, loose components, and impurities should be completely removed. For critical or unknown substrates, a prior adhesion and compatibility test is recommended.
Cut the cartridge tip to match the desired joint width and apply the silicone evenly into the joint. Then smooth it within the skin formation time with a suitable smoothing agent and appropriate joint accessories.
FoodLine Food-Grade Silicone can be processed from +5 °C to a maximum of +40 °C. The skin formation time is approx. 3 to 10 minutes. Curing is approx. 2 mm per day. After complete curing, the silicone is temperature-resistant from -50 °C to +180 °C.
