beko Drywall Profile Adhesive is a high-quality SMP polymer adhesive for the screw-less mounting of UW frame profiles and cladding in drywall construction. The adhesive was specially developed for professional drywall work and allows for bonding instead of screwing in suitable applications.

The profile adhesive is TÜV-certified and adheres even to damp substrates. Thanks to its high initial adhesion and extremely fast curing, it is ideal for efficient assembly work indoors and outdoors.

beko Drywall Profile Adhesive is permanently elastic, shows no shrinkage, and is silicone-, acid-, isocyanate-, and solvent-free. Additionally, it is paintable, temperature-resistant from -45 °C to +100 °C, and classified as very low-emission according to GEV-EMICODE® EC 1 Plus.

Resistance

According to the manufacturer, the adhesive has high resistance to salt water, aliphatic solvents, hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, alcohols, and diluted mineral acids.

Possible Limitations / Things to Note

• For unknown, coated, or critical substrates, conduct adhesion and compatibility tests beforehand.
• Substrates must be load-bearing, clean, and free of loose particles.
• Remove oil, grease, dust, and release agents before processing.
• After opening, the cartridge should be used promptly.
• Complete curing depends on temperature, humidity, material thickness, and substrate.
• Observe manufacturer's instructions, assembly instructions, and safety data sheet.

Processing Instructions

Before processing, the bonding surfaces must be load-bearing, clean, and free of loose particles. Oil, grease, dust, and release agents should be removed. The drywall profile adhesive can also adhere to damp substrates; however, for critical substrates, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended.

Insert the cartridge into a suitable cartridge gun and cut the cartridge tip to match the desired bead width. Apply the adhesive evenly, position and align the profile or component. The bonding can be corrected for approx. 15 minutes.

The adhesive can be processed from 0 °C to a maximum of +40 °C. Skin formation time is approx. 15 minutes ± 5 minutes. Curing is approx. 2 to 3 mm per 24 hours, depending on temperature and ambient conditions.
