beko Well Foam 750 ml – PU foam for sealing against moisture

beko Well Foam is a high-quality 1-component polyurethane foam for sealing, filling and caulking in construction and assembly. The PU foam is particularly suitable for applications where components must be reliably sealed against moisture.

According to the manufacturer, the well foam is waterproof up to 0.8 bar or 8 m water column, resistant to municipal wastewater, non-toxic when cured, and resistant to aging and frost. The foam yield is approx. 42 liters.

Processing instructions

Substrates must be sound, clean, and free of loose components. Prepare and shake the can thoroughly according to the manufacturer's instructions before use.

For the straw variant, the foam is applied with the reclosable foam straw. For the NBS variant, the can is screwed onto a suitable NBS foam gun. Then, apply the foam evenly into the areas to be sealed.

The well foam can be processed at ambient and material temperatures from +3 °C. The can temperature should be between +10 °C and +30 °C. Skin formation time approx. 15 minutes, curing approx. 25 minutes at 3 cm bead thickness and +20 °C / 65 % relative humidity.

Important notes

  • Observe manufacturer's instructions and safety information before processing
  • PU foam may contain isocyanates – use suitable protective equipment
  • Remove fresh foam splashes immediately with a suitable PU cleaner
  • Cured foam can usually only be removed mechanically
  • Can is under pressure: protect from heat, sun, and open flames
