The KIP 3608 WASHI-TEC® Goldkrepp® is a high-quality precision masking tape for professional painting and lacquering work. The particularly thin WASHI-TEC® paper backing allows for exact positioning and ensures particularly clean, sharp paint edges.

The tape is equipped with a high-performance acrylate adhesive and reinforced with particularly long, tear-resistant JINZOKEI® fibers. This allows the KIP 3608 to combine high dimensional stability with good tear resistance and reliable adhesion on smooth and slightly rough surfaces.

Why WASHI-TEC® Goldkrepp®?

In high-quality painting work, the quality of the masking determines the final result. The very thin paper backing of the KIP 3608 can be positioned exactly against edges and lies particularly close to the surface. This reduces the risk of paint seeping under the tape.

Application Instructions

The surface should be dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, and release agents. Press the adhesive tape down carefully, especially along the intended paint edge. For sensitive, freshly painted, or coated surfaces, it is recommended to perform a test application in an inconspicuous area beforehand.

After completing the work, the tape should be inspected and removed at as shallow an angle as possible. The maximum service life depends on the surface and the respective environmental conditions.
