Nozar DRA Diamond Grinding Disc for Screed and Abrasive Building Materials
The Nozar DRA is a diamond grinding disc for abrasive, relatively soft mineral building materials. Its range of applications includes, among others, screed, fresh concrete, aerated concrete and plaster. The diamond segments are arranged in two rows. The Profi-Line tool is suitable for processing corresponding surfaces with a suitable angle or concrete grinder.
Features and Benefits
- For screed, fresh concrete, aerated concrete or porous concrete and plaster.
- Also for lightweight building blocks, soft fireclay, soft limestone and sandstones and hollow blocks.
- Double-row segment design with a segment height of 5 mm.
- For leveling screed and removing screed overhangs.
Application
For substrate preparation, the DRA can be used for trimming and finishing suitable mineral surfaces. The material range distinguishes it from the DRB, which is described for concrete and hard limestone and sandstone. The bond should therefore be selected according to the actual substrate. Uniform grinding pressure and suitable dust extraction support controlled processing.
Technical Data
| Manufacturer Part Number | Version |
|---|---|
| 6701314 | Diameter (mm): 125; Bore (mm): 22.23 |
Selection and Processing
The available version has a diameter of 125 mm and a mounting bore of 22.23 mm. In addition, the required working space of the machine must be checked before installation. The product name and bore alone do not prove full machine compatibility. For larger grinding machines, the catalog lists another version; this is to be selected based on its own dimensions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What distinguishes DRA from DRB?
DRA is described for abrasive building materials such as screed and fresh concrete; DRB for concrete and hard limestone and sandstone.
Can I remove screed overhangs with it?
Yes, the removal of screed overhangs is expressly listed among the stated applications.
Is the grinding disc suitable for every 125 mm machine?
This must be checked based on the mounting, construction height, protective guard and machine approval. The outer diameter alone is not sufficient.
