PCI Silcofug E – Flexible Silicone Sealant
PCI Silcofug E is a flexible, acetoxy-curing silicone sealant for expansion, corner and movement joints. It combines a wide selection of coordinated PCI colors with weather and UV resistance. The color number helps to precisely match the flexible expansion joint to the adjacent PCI joint mortar.
Areas of Application
- Ceramic tiles in bathrooms, showers and kitchens, as well as joints on balconies and terraces.
- Joints in swimming pools and pool surrounds within the specified PCI construction.
- Suitable for sealing to glass, aluminum, wood, enamel, ceramic, hard PVC and acrylic after substrate preparation.
Properties and Benefits
- 20% allowable total movement for movement joints.
- Weather and UV resistant, as well as resistant to standard household cleaners and disinfectants.
- Anti-fungal additives support joint hygiene; they do not replace cleaning.
- EMICODE EC1 PLUS and a finely adjustable color palette for ceramic tiles.

Substrate and Application
Prepare the joint edges so that they are clean, dry and load-bearing. Remove existing residues completely and select the required primers based on the substrate.
Size and backfill the joint so that movements remain within the 20% limit. Use closed-cell PE round cord and avoid adhesion to the joint substrate.
Apply the silicone evenly under pressure against the edges. Smooth in sections before the short skin formation time; curing depends on temperature, humidity and joint depth.
Important Usage Limitations
- Do not use as a universal natural stone silicone. For sensitive natural stone edges, select the expressly suitable PCI solution.
- Not all colors are available in both container sizes. The variants contain exclusively the combinations listed in the product master data.
Quantity and Scope of Delivery
The quantity selection refers to the number of complete containers of the same version: 1, 6, 7, 12 = full unit; 15 = full unit. Container size and pack quantity are not the same.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Sand Gray NR.22 mean?
Sand Gray is the color name, 22 is the PCI color number. Both are indicated in the color selection; in the SKU, it is listed as NR22 without a period.
Are 310 ml and 400 ml the same container?
No. 310 ml is offered as a cartridge, 400 ml as a sausage tube. The required dispensing gun and the box quantity also differ.
Is the joint permanently mold-free?
Anti-fungal additives can limit infestation, but do not guarantee a permanently mold-free joint. Cleaning, ventilation and the avoidance of permanent deposits remain necessary.
