Sikacryl PRO+

Thixotropic, non-sagging 1K acrylic sealant for joints with low movement indoors and for suitable outdoor applications without constant exposure to moisture. The following description summarizes the most important manufacturer information for selection and application in a practical way.

Application & Substrate

• Prepare the substrate to be solid, clean, dry and free from substances that reduce adhesion.
• Priming is usually not required; on porous substrates, a product mixture diluted with water can be used as a pretreatment.
• For outdoor joints, ensure suitable joint geometry and protection from permanent moisture.

Notes / Possible Disadvantages

• Not intended for constant exposure to moisture.
• With 12.5% movement capacity, it is less suitable for highly moving joints than highly elastic PU or silicone sealants.
• Protect from frost.

Which variant is suitable?
Color and packaging are selected separately. For boxed goods, individual units, half cases and full cases are available, where applicable.

Does it need to be primed?
This depends on Sikacryl PRO+, the substrate and the exposure. The above notes and the current SIKA product data sheet are decisive.

Can I use the product outdoors?
Only to the extent that the respective application is approved by SIKA for outdoor use. The substrate, moisture, temperature and exposure are decisive.

What is important for storage and application?
Store the packaging closed, dry and within the temperature limits specified by the manufacturer. Observe the product and safety data sheet before application.
