The TAJIMA G-SAW is a professional folding pull saw for fast and controlled cuts in wood, lumber, branches, and comparable wood materials. Choose between the complete G-SAW folding saws GKG210 and GKG240 as well as the matching Original TAJIMA replacement blades GKBG210 and GKBG240.

The saw blades feature a coarse, fast-cut tooth pattern with 9 teeth per inch. The complete folding saws have an ergonomic elastomer handle and a foldable blade for compact and protected storage.

Important: GKG210 and GKG240 are complete folding saws with handle and mounted blade. GKBG210 and GKBG240 are individual replacement blades without a saw handle.

GKG210 – complete G-SAW folding saw with 210 mm

The TAJIMA GKG210 is the more compact G-SAW version. The 210 mm long blade with 9 TPI is suitable for smaller branches, wood strips, dismantling timber, and mobile work. A complete folding saw with handle and mounted blade is supplied.

GKG240 – complete G-SAW folding saw with 240 mm

The TAJIMA GKG240 offers a greater cutting reach with its 240 mm long blade. It is suitable for thicker branches, planks, squared timber, and versatile work in timber construction, interior finishing, and gardening.

GKBG210 – replacement blade with 210 mm

The TAJIMA GKBG210 is the matching original replacement blade for the G-SAW GKG210. Only a 210 mm long blade without a handle is supplied.

GKBG240 – replacement blade with 240 mm

The TAJIMA GKBG240 is the matching original replacement blade for the G-SAW GKG240. Only a 240 mm long blade without a handle is supplied.

Fast-cut tooth pattern with 9 TPI

All offered G-SAW blades have a tooth pattern with 9 TPI. TPI stands for "Teeth per Inch" and denotes the number of teeth per inch. The coarse tooth pattern is designed for fast material removal and rapid work progress.

The G-SAW is therefore particularly suitable for lumber, branches, planks, squared timber, and general cutting tasks. For particularly fine and tear-free visible or furniture cuts, a Japanese saw with finer teeth may be more suitable.

Japanese sawing principle – pull-stroke cutting

The TAJIMA G-SAW primarily cuts when the blade is pulled back. During the pull stroke, the blade is tensioned and guided controllably through the material. Only light pressure should be applied when pushing forward.

For a clean cut, a steady tool guidance with even pull strokes is recommended. Twisting or jamming the blade sideways should be avoided.
