TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 CNV100SP26 – High-Performance Cartridge Gun for Viscous Materials

The TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 CNV100SP26 is a particularly powerful professional cartridge gun for processing highly viscous sealants, adhesives, and assembly products from standard 300ml and 310ml cartridges.

With its high 26:1 gear ratio, the cartridge gun enables powerful and controlled force transfer. This means even tough materials can be dispensed evenly with significantly less effort. The reinforced housing, non-slip grip, and 360° rotatable cartridge holder make the Convoy Super 26 a reliable solution for trade, assembly, and construction sites.

Your Advantages at a Glance

  • Professional high-performance cartridge gun from TAJIMA
  • For standard cartridges up to 310 ml
  • High mechanical gear ratio of 26:1
  • Ideal for very viscous sealants and adhesives
  • Enhanced-SST system for direct power transmission
  • Enlarged contact surface between push rod and feed mechanism
  • 360° rotatable cartridge holder
  • Non-slip and ergonomic elastomer grip
  • Automatic material flow stop to prevent unnecessary afterflow
  • Integrated, extra-long needle for opening cartridge seals
  • Reinforced housing and robust welds
  • Available individually or as a complete manufacturer's pack of 6

26:1 Gear Ratio for Particularly Viscous Materials

The 26:1 gear ratio generates a particularly high dispensing force. The hand force applied to the handle is mechanically amplified and transferred to the cartridge piston.

This makes the TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 particularly suitable for materials that are difficult or uneven to process with simple cartridge guns. Even with tough consistency, the gun supports a controlled and even material flow.

Enhanced-SST System for Direct Power Transmission

The advanced Enhanced-SST feed system has an enlarged contact surface between the push rod and the feed sleeve. This ensures that the hand force is transferred to the push rod as directly as possible and without unnecessary losses.

The revised mechanism not only supports high dispensing performance but also contributes to a longer service life of the heavily used feed components.

Automatic Material Flow Stop

After releasing the trigger, the pressure on the cartridge piston is automatically slightly reduced. This limits the undesirable afterflow of sealant or adhesive from the cartridge nozzle.

The material flow stop facilitates clean work, reduces potential material waste, and helps to start and stop beads and joints in a controlled manner.

360° Rotatable Cartridge Holder

The cartridge holder can be rotated a full 360°. This allows the cartridge nozzle to be adjusted to the desired working direction at any time.

This is particularly practical for working in corners, on floor and wall connections, and in hard-to-reach areas where the cartridge gun can only be moved to a limited extent.

For Highly Viscous Sealants and Adhesives

Depending on product approval and processing temperature, the TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 is suitable for, among other things:

  • Highly viscous assembly adhesives
  • Hybrid and MS polymer adhesives
  • PU adhesives and PU sealants
  • Bodywork and structural adhesives
  • Facade and connection joint sealants
  • Heavy acrylics and sealing compounds
  • Silicone sealants
  • Other materials in 300ml or 310ml cartridges

Note: Always observe the application instructions of the sealant or adhesive manufacturer before processing. The required dispensing force may depend on the material temperature, the age of the product, the nozzle opening, and the respective viscosity.

Typical Areas of Application

  • Window and door installation
  • Facade construction and connection joints
  • Drywall and interior finishing
  • Roofing and waterproofing works
  • Tile and natural stone work
  • Sanitary and installation work
  • Processing of assembly and structural adhesives
  • Workshop, repair, and industrial assembly

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about the TAJIMA Convoy Super 26

What cartridge size is the Convoy Super 26 suitable for?

The CNV100SP26 model is designed for standard rigid cartridges with a volume of approximately 300 or 310 ml.

What does a 26:1 gear ratio mean?

The gear ratio describes the mechanical force amplification of the cartridge gun. With a 26:1 ratio, the force applied to the handle is strongly amplified and transferred to the cartridge piston. This makes it easier to dispense particularly viscous materials.

What materials is the cartridge gun suitable for?

The Convoy Super 26 is particularly suitable for highly viscous sealants, assembly adhesives, hybrid polymers, PU products, and comparable materials in appropriate cartridges. The approvals of the respective material manufacturer must be observed.

Can the gun also be used for standard silicone?

Yes. Standard silicone sealants in appropriate 300ml or 310ml cartridges can also be processed. Due to the high gear ratio, the trigger should be operated in a controlled manner for easy-flowing materials.

What is the Enhanced-SST system?

The Enhanced-SST system is the power-transmitting feed mechanism of the cartridge gun. An enlarged contact surface supports the direct transfer of hand force to the push rod and reduces mechanical losses.

Does the cartridge gun have a drip stop?

Yes. After releasing the trigger, the pressure on the cartridge is slightly relieved. This reduces the unwanted afterflow of the material.

Is the cartridge holder rotatable?

Yes. The cartridge holder can be rotated 360°. The nozzle can thus be aligned to match the respective joint or adhesive direction.

Can the cartridge seal be opened with the gun?

Yes. The TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 has an integrated, extra-long piercing needle for opening the inner cartridge seal.

Is the Convoy Super 26 suitable for foil packs?

No. The CNV100SP26 model is intended for rigid cartridges. For foil packs, a suitably designed foil pack gun is required.

What is the difference to the TAJIMA Super 12?

The Convoy Super 26 has a significantly higher gear ratio of 26:1 than the Super 12 with 12:1. This makes it particularly suitable for very viscous and hard-to-dispense materials. For easy-flowing standard materials, a lower gear ratio may allow for finer dosing.

What does "6 Pieces = 1 Pack" mean?

The bundle variant contains six complete TAJIMA Convoy Super 26 cartridge guns. Six pieces correspond to a sealed manufacturer's inner pack for this model.

Is a cartridge included in the scope of delivery?

No. The scope of delivery includes only the selected number of TAJIMA cartridge guns. Sealants, adhesives, and cartridges must be ordered separately.

Application Instructions

  1. Unlock the push rod and pull it back completely.
  2. Insert a suitable 300ml or 310ml cartridge into the holder.
  3. Cut the cartridge tip according to the desired bead width.
  4. Completely open the inner seal with the integrated needle.
  5. Screw on the cartridge nozzle and cut it to size for the application.
  6. Rotate the cartridge holder to the desired working direction.
  7. Operate the trigger in a controlled manner and dispense material evenly.
  8. After finishing work, relieve pressure and remove material residues.

Safety and Care Instructions

  • Observe the safety and processing instructions of the material used.
  • Wear suitable protective gloves and safety glasses depending on the product.
  • Use the piercing needle carefully and then fold it away safely.
  • Do not use damaged, deformed, or leaking cartridges.
  • Do not use excessive force if the cartridge or nozzle is blocked.
  • Remove fresh material residues from the gun as soon as possible.
  • Do not forcibly remove hardened residues from the mechanism.
  • Regularly check the feed mechanism and push rod for damage.
  • Store the tool dry and out of reach of children.
